One month ago, The Hollywood Reporter desperately confirmed that James Gunn, along with his dog Ozu, would reveal a sneak peek of his upcoming movie ‘Superman’.
‘Director James Gunn and his dog Ozu will debut a sneak preview of the film during the Puppy Bowl, as stated by The Hollywood Reporter.’
However, The odds didn’t seem to be in the favor of DC fans this time since nothing like that happened on February 9 during the Puppy Bowl event. On the other hand, the situation was completely different on the matter of ‘Superman’s first teaser trailer premiere in December; everything turned out as stated by major sources. Well…James Gunn appeared at the Puppy Bowl alongside his dog, Ozu, and spoke at length, though none of it pertained to Superman.
“Krypto has all the powers of Superman and is as lovable and mischievous as many of the irresistible pups you’ll see today in this Puppy Bowl,” Gunn said with Ozu by his side. “We’re going to meet over 120 rescue pups who started off in shelters and are now flying to stardom as they tussle, triumph, and get distracted over the course of the day.” James Gunn stated at the Puppy Bowl.

James Gunn did reveal something about ‘Superman’ but can not be considered a Sneak Peek by any stretch, which was exactly claimed by The Hollywood Reporter. It does not mean James didn’t reveal anything either. There was a kind of promotional advertisement featuring Nathon Fillion as Guy Gardner, whom we will see in ‘Superman’ but that doesn’t relate to the movie in any way as we have also seen him in the teaser trailer of ‘Superman’.

We previously stated that this event is just concerned with dogs so there is a vague chance of us getting to see something big related to the movie, however; James Gunn might reveal a poster or something, which he did and revealed the poster featuring Krypto; people are saying it a poster but it doesn’t look like one; it is just an art of Krypto that was also featured on the New Shirts that James Gunn revealed.
‘we might not see much from it. However, James might reveal a new look at Superman or Krypto, as the event aligns with Krypto’s theme.’ as previously stated by The Tinseltown Times.
We weren’t lucky enough this time, but there’s still plenty of time until the release of ‘Superman’, and James Gunn definitely has a lot in store for us that we’ll get to see in the coming months. ‘Superman’ is set to fly in theaters on July 11.
