DC Studios is ready to drop its banger in the form of ‘Superman’ directed by James Gunn. The film’s heavy promotion kicked off months in advance, featuring Superman-themed merchandise, collectibles, and statues showcased at Comic Cons around the world.
Some days ago James confirmed via Threads that a new trailer for ‘Superman’ is now ready. Since then, people have been speculating that the trailer is going to be released anytime soon.
The wait was over; James posted on Threads a brand new poster featuring David Corenswet as Superman crossing arms with a gentle smile on lips and hope, followed by a minor tease for the upcoming trailer. In the teaser, we got some new looks at the character of the film and also a fight sequence between Hammer Of Boravia and Superman in mid-air. A new look at Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor was as impressive as it has been.

Today, DC Studios and James Gunn officially released the trailer for ‘Superman‘; the shot opens with Lois Lane interviewing Clark Kent about some destruction that might have been in the past, they get into a bit of an argument during the talk and Lois tells Clark that an inquiry has been set up for Superman because of his actions as Superman been summoned to court for his actions in ‘Batman vs Superman’.
A new scene opens and we see Frank Grillo’s Rick Flag Sr. as the leader of Argus. He was assigned to bring Superman to court, accompanied by Maria Gabriela de Faría’s looking fabulous as The Engineer, and Ultraman.
Lois says to Clark that you should get the government’s permission to do what you have done, and Clark gets pissed off and flings his hands downwards, yelling “People were in danger.”

A scene cuts, and we see Superman falling off from the sky in the middle of Metropolis and suddenly surrounded by people, and a man helps him to get on his feet. Further, we see Superman saying to someone, “Hey buddy, eyes up here,” maybe to that Kaiju.
A new scene opens with the beauty and the crystals of the Fortress Of Solitude and here we see the first time The Engineer uses her powers and brutally murders two of the Kryptonian Robots as Krypto barks at her. Lex emerges from behind, which suggests she works for him. The scene ends with Krypto jumping and hitting her in the face.

We see the next three small cuts: Superman saving a woman from Kaiju, Lois, and Superman in a building that we have seen previously, and Kid Clark running to Pa Kent. The soul of this scene was Jonathan Kent’s words: “Your choices, your actions that’s what makes you who you are.”
In addition, we get a short look at Edi Gathegi’s Mr. Terrific, being terrific at using his powers over Lex’s goons. A good look at Lex, saying, “Super…man, he is not a man. He is it… that’s somehow become the focal point of the entire world’s conversation.”

A new look falls off and we see the Justice League assembled and a fight between The Engineer and Ultraman with Superman in a stadium. A new scene shows us that the ocean is being separated from the middle because of what it looks like Anthony Carrigan’s Metamorpho using his powers.
In another shot, we see Lex Luthor frustrated and screaming. We get our first look at Martha Kent who says to Clark I get you your boots, then Clark transforms into Superman and flies to face off the Kaiju. We see a short look at Isabela Merced’s Hawkgirl and Nathon Fillion’s Guy Gardner flipping a car.

In a new scene, Skyler Gissondo, aka Jimmy Olsen, and Clark are having fun at the office and being buddies. We see the first look at Sara Sampaio’s Eve Teshmacher, who is now confirmed to play Lex’s girlfriend, taking a selfie while the fight is going on in the background. Then some short scenes in Metamorpho, Lex, and Superman & Lois kiss in mid-air.
In the end, Superman flies into the sky, and people just cheer him and make clips while Superman goes upside down swiftly and the symbol of hope shines brighter than ever. A minor cut comes and Lois say to Superman you have a dog and we see Krypto laying over the top of Superman’s chest. DC Studios ‘Superman’ is se to fly in theaters on July 11.
