There’s been much hype regarding the DC animated show ‘Creature Commandos’, Which is also confirmed by James Gunn himself who wrote the script for the show, that it’s going to be the first chain in the rebooted DC universe.

Recently, A fan asked James Gunn about what’s going to be the first show/movie in the new DC lineup; in response, James Came forward on Threads (as he usually does) and confirmed that Creature Commandos comes first and then Superman.

What Creature Commandos is about?

Creature Commandos is a unique team of supernatural soldiers introduced by DC Comics in 1980. It is Set during World War II, this group was assembled to take on missions that conventional troops couldn’t handle, facing off against extraordinary threats. What makes the team stand out is their resemblance to classic horror creatures, each of them with their monstrous abilities.

The team consists of The Bride voiced by Indira Verma (Game Of Thrones star) Doctor Phosphorus voiced by Alan Tudyk, Eric Frankenstein voiced by David Harbour, Nina Mazursky by Zoë Chao, G.I Robot and Weasel both voiced by James Gunn’s brother Sean Gunn and last but not least Rick Flag Sr. voiced and played by Frank Grillo who lead the team, He is also set to appear in the upcoming Peacemaker Season 2 and Superman, as confirmed by Gunn himself.

Should you watch Creature Commandos?

We have talked about all the major aspects of Creature Commandos, and now comes the question: Should we watch the show or not?

The simple answer is Yes, as it is the first staircase in the new DC line-up, and the major reason is that it came out from the mind of James Gunn. If you are a fan of his direction and humour he presented in Peacemaker, there is no reason to stop you from watching it.

Last month James confirmed the Streaming date For the show sharing what it seems like to be a poster that says 5th December on Max.
