DC Studios’ first chapter, Gods & Monsters, moves ahead with its pull strength, while ‘Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow’ has been in production for two weeks. We also had the first Behind-The-Scene look at Milly Alcock’s Supergirl resting on a chair with the background blurred, because of which it can’t be estimated actually what the scene they are filming. Although we had quite a good look at the logo of Supergirl which is a replica of James Gunn’s Superman’s. Milly is sitting on a chair wearing a hoodie of Supergirl’s, and her hair brushing down one of her shoulders, which clarifies that Supergirl will have comic-accurate long hair.

Today, Deadline also confirmed another casting, which is related to DC Studios’ ‘Lanterns’ — to be in production around early February. DC Studios’ has cast Ulrich Thomsen as Sinestro in ‘Lanterns.’ Ulrich Thomsen is a Danish actor and filmmaker known for his role of Christian in the 1998 film The Celebration and for the role of Kai Proctor in Cinemax’s original series Banshee, which also stars The Boys’ Antony Starr.
Who is Sinestro?

Sinestro, whose full name is Thaal Sinestro, is a distinguished supervillain in the DC universe, primarily known as the adversary of Green Lantern. He is also a Green Lantern but was expelled for ill-usage of his powers and opposing the Lanterns’ code. Afterward, founds the Sinestro race, then forges a yellow ring, powered by fear as opposed to the typical green ring, which symbolizes Lanterns.
The Official Description for Sinestro in ‘Lanterns’
“Ruthless yet undeniably charming, Sinestro is a former Green Lantern who turned rogue. Sinestro’s manipulative nature drives his enduring obsession with his former mentee, Hal Jordan.”
Ulrich shares his excitement on IG, “So excited to share this. New to me that genre. But hell, it’s going to be fun.” We will get more regarding ‘Lanterns’ in the coming months as filming begins in a few weeks. The show is said to be released before ‘Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow’ in 2026, which time will tell how much of it is accurate.
