Last week, NYCC took place, and there were a bunch of things, although they were related to comics, and there wasn’t much to be announced for television. Marvel announced some comics of Ultimate Wolverine and much more, with the cast of Daredevil: Born Again coming up on stage and talking about the show confirmed to release in March 2025. Out of all these things, the one that generated the most excitement was DC’s Co-Head, James Gunn, stepping up on the stage and addressing fans about the upcoming shows and movies from DC Studios.
However, the panel there at NYCC was for Creature Commandos, and the cast who came there was from the show who voiced the characters in the animated series coming December 5 only on Max. Fans were eagerly waiting for James to say something about Superman or give an update about the teaser trailer reveal. Some even stuck to their seats, thinking about the time James would reveal the teaser.
James Gunn on the First Superman Teaser Trailer
Upon being asked, “Is there a trailer yet,” James Gunn chuckled and said, “No trailer, no Superman trailer,” further, he clarified, “It’s not too long before you see a trailer–but not too soon.” James Gunn also spoke highly of David Corenswet as Superman saying, “David will blow people the fu*k away as Superman.”
A fan yesterday asked James about the progress of the trailer–if It’s already finished. James responded by saying, “It’s not, I worked on it this weekend.”
We get a positive update that is in favor of the Superman teaser reveal before 2025—highly likely at the CCXP—a convention for Comics Television, Movies, and TV shows—held every year in Brazil.
