Knull Unleashed: The Dark God Behind Venom: The Last Dance

Knull

The last movie in Sony’s Venom franchise, Venom: The Last Dance is on the verge of theatrical release. The Venom franchise has been most successful in Sony Spider-Man Universe despite bad and mixed reviews. Since the beginning of SSU, Sony produced films that neither the critics nor the fans liked, resulting in financial disaster. Now their only hope lies with the release of Venom: The Last Dance and Kraven: The Hunter, set to release on 13 December.

Venom: The Last Dance is going to feature Marvel’s one of the most formidable villains to date, Knull whom people are so excited to see on the big screen. There are also rumors suggesting that Andy Serkis who is known for portraying Caesar in the Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes franchise, has been cast as God Of Symbiotes.

Who is Knull: The God Of Symbiotes?

Knull

Knull is a mighty cosmic villain, first introduced back in Thor: God Of Thunder #6 (2013), and his first cover appearance was in Venom Vol.4 #3, created by Donny Cates. He is the creator of all symbiotes and responsible for symbiotes’ existence. He is an ancient, powerful being; he is not the one seeking his prey in the universe; he hunts the universe itself. He is supposed to appear in a pivotal role in Venom: The Last Dance.

Knull’s existence was even before the universe’s and he then lived in the pre-existing void where he dominated until the emergence of Celestials–beings with extreme cosmic power–disrupted his territory with their existence. Fueled by resentment, Knull forges a sword called All-Black Necrosword made out of darkness and provokes a war against Celestials, even killing one of them. He then decides to spread darkness and chaos across the cosmos, the idea leads him to create symbiotes.

Knull’s tale continues to unfold beyond what is known in Venom as he ultimately becomes the main villain in Marvel’s King In Black comic storyline in which he strives to conquer the world and other planets. His godlike powers make him Marvel’s one of the most formidable villains in comics.

Venom: The Last Dance is set to release worldwide on October 25, where we will enjoy Tom Hardy, aka Eddie, and Venom’s journey, one last time, as they say. However, these claims come from Sony and Tom Hardy, but they are highly likely to return in upcoming SSU projects.
